Resolved! Issues after upgrading Glassmapper from 4.0.1.8 version, to 4.0.5.54

This is a mini post just for those who face similar problem given below with Glassmapper.

Recently one of our teams upgraded Sitecore Glass mapper from 4.0.1.8 to 4.0.5.54 and they ran into 'Object reference not set to an instance' error while using

  var renderings = GetRenderingParameters<sublayout_wrapper>();

We approached GlassMapper team for resolution and it is fixed in version 4.0.9.60
